The Carolina/Dook game this year was a wonderful game until the last 4 minutes of the regulation. But regardless of the outcome, we still had a great time. And we got to celebrate Granddaddy’s birthday early with cookie cake! Thanks for a wonderful show, Pop and Bubba! We’ll bring home a W next time.

Last week, we had 70 degree temperatures, tornadoes in Charlotte, and snow flurries!!
Aiden’s class huddled in the media Center during the tornado warning. The kids were scared but those teachers did an amazing job keeping the kids calm and focused.
Once again, Scott organized a bunch of his knucklehead friends to compete in his doughnut run. In case you’ve forgotten: they run 2.5 miles from our house to the Krispy Kreme, eat a dozen doughnuts, and then run the 2.5 miles back home. This year, Bill Newton, who has been on a low sugar diet for the past 5 years, crushed ALL of the competition!! Congrats to Uncle Mr. Bill!!
