We have been trying to take full advantage of the last few days of summer vacation. I think most parents like having school start back so they don’t have to entertain their kids. Scott and I are the opposite. The busy-ness of the school year with the early bus, homework, after school activities, etc, are so overwhelming sometimes. Summer is a breath of fresh air! Here is some of what we’ve been doing to soak up the last bit of summer.
We may have eaten dinner literally at poolside a few times 🙂 Bruno is looking for leftovers…maybe right off Scott’s face!

The kids and I went to Concord Mills in the middle of the day on a Monday and bounced on the trampoline and played games at Dave and Busters. Not our style at all but the kids had so much fun!

We took a trip to Reedy Creek Park with Grandma and Grandpa for some fishing.
Aiden lost 3 teeth in 7 days! And has 6 more that are loose! Guess he’ll be on a milkshake diet once they all fall out!
We brought out the old bouncy water slide. The kids are almost too big for it but we still had a great time…just had to go one at a time!
Court was invited to his first sleepover at his friend, Wynn’s house. Wynn’s mom, Brooke, sent me this photo of those cuties with their ice cream sundaes!
