End of summer

This is how we rounded out summer:

Monster truck show with Grandpa, Uncle Mike, and cousin Ryan

Cookout at friends’ Lori and Phil’s house. Court wanted to be part of their family by the end of the day! 

Aiden and his friend Bryson went to the whitewater center to celebrate Bryson’s birthday. Aiden is afraid of heights but he did the ropes course and loved it.

Court turns seven

Thanks to everyone who made this kid feel SO special on his birthday.  From cards, to emails, to presents, to cakes, to videos, (I could go on and on), Court brought in the number 7 the right way!

A few friends came to celebrate Court with a pool party. Court wanted Subway to “cater” for lunch  – love a simple party plan!

Aiden couldn’t wait to give Court his bday gift – Pokemon cards, of course.

Tearing into his gifts at Grandma and Grandpa’s house. Uncle Mike, Aunt Cara, Ryan and Lindsay all came to celebrate him on his birthday. 

The night of Court’s actual birthday, we drove to Chapel Hill to help honor Pop as they named the basket ball court after him.  There was a letterman’s reunion and Aiden and Court were able to go (because they know the court’s namesake).  There were birthday balloons and birthday cake waiting at the gym for him. And just to make sure he didn’t get overlooked, Pop had all 600 letterman and family that were there that night SING to our little man!  What a night!

Celebrating with Granny and Granddaddy the next day.  We’ll keep celebrating you all year long kiddo!  We love you!
