Our neighborhood held it’s annual easter egg hunt this Saturday in the park. It was a beautiful day and Aiden had been practicing since last year so we knew he’d get into the egg hunt. He also got into the petting zoo. I love our neighborhood for a lot of reasons, but this activity might be tops of my list after seeing how much fun Aiden had. Needless to say, he was exhausted after all the festivities, almost fell asleep in his potatoes at lunch, and then took a very long nap. Overall, a very successful Easter Egg Hunt!
Before putting an egg in his basket, Aiden has to check out what is inside the egg. Sorry, buddy, nothin' in there!

...and the llama. He also got to meet his friend, the Easter Burrow again but sadly, we didn't get a photo of their reunion.
Then we tried out facepainting for the first time. The brush must have tickled his nose because he giggled the entire time.
